Meet the GIrls Coaches 2024
12U Head Coach – Kendra Ritter
Kendra has been coaching with Matrix for 12 years, and it’s where she met her incredible good looking husband. She loves to coach and push players to be their best. She currently runs the mens & womens program at ALA HS, and Middle School. Emphasis on fundamentals will be crucial for this age group.
12U Assistant Coach – Hanna Stancliff
Hanna has been coaching with Matrix for 2 years. She has a great positive attitude and the girls love her. Hanna plays adult ball, and enjoys the sport. She is assistant coach ALA middle school
13U Head Coach – Pamela Headley
This is Coach Pam’s 2nd year with Matrix. Pam loves to coach and runs the Legacy Middle School Basketball and Volleyball programs.
13U Assistant Coach – Elizabeth Headley
Coach Lizzy played volleyball for years. This is her 2nd year with Matrix, and we are excited to have her. She prides herself on passing her volleyball knowledge to upcoming players.
14U Head Coach – Cort Cox
Cort has always loved volleyball. Cort basicallywas raised in the gym and was a gym rat that followed his dad around. His father played, and coached his older sister and he was always a part of it. He played adult league starting at age 14. As a freshman he played outside for Southern Virginia University Club Team. They competed in National Championships 2013/14 & 2014/15. He is very excited to bring his volleyball passion and knowledge and be a part of a team that he can develop and grow with. He has a wonderful family and we appreciate them sharing him with us! Lets go!
14U Assistant Coach – Hana Trom
Coach Hana is currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising/Styling at MCC. She has competed for over 10 years in volleyball including club and High School. Hana has a passion for the game, and is excited to pass it along to young athletes.
15U Head Coach – Kenzie Haringa
This is Coach Kenzie’s 2nd year with Matrix. Coach Kenzie is knowledgeable in Volleyball. She played Club and HS ball libero, and enjoys coaching and seeing players improvement.
15U Assistant Coach – Melissa Odonnal
Coach Melissa has been coaching for over 16 years. Melissa currently runs the JVA girls & boys teams at ALA HS. Emphasis on fundamentals and conditioning will be part of the program.

16U Assistant Coach – Bre Guzman
Bre played HS volleyball at Copper Canyon HS. She continues to play co-ed intermural and pick up games. She has an emphasis in fitness, and works with youth for her day job. We are excited to add her to the Matrix Family!
17/18 Head Coach Melissa ODonnal
Coach Melissa ODonnal is a veteran volleyball coach with over 16 years of experience. She was fortunate enough to have played college volleyball. Currently runs the JVA girls and boys teams at ALA High School.
17/18 Assistant Coach Hailey Carpenter
This is Hailey’s second year with Matrix. She played setter in high school and college. She loves volleyball and is passionate about helping young players develop their skills.
17/18 Assistant Coach Adam Kobel
Coach Kobel continually plays volleyball every week pick up games. Coach Kobel is Head Coach at ALA, JVB team. His positive energy and love for the game are infectious. This is Coach Kobels 2nd year with Matrix. LETS GO!!!
